Eavestrough repair and replacement

Eavestrough problems fixed properly, from one leaky corner to a whole new system.

Water spilling over the edge, dripping at the joints or pooling beside the foundation usually means something has shifted, rusted or lost its slope. We find the cause, repair what can be repaired and replace what can't, for homes across Burlington, Hamilton and Oakville.

Repairs

Most are finished in a single visit:

Joints, corners and end caps resealed

Extra hangers where runs have started to sag

Extra hangers where runs have started to sag

Low spots re-sloped so water drains instead of spilling

New eavestrough

For systems that are rusted through or were hung at the wrong slope:

5" seamless aluminum, formed on-site to fit your home

Optional Alu-Rex T-Rex or Gutter Clean leaf guards

New soffit and fascia on the same visit, if you want it

Colour-matched to your trim, with a 10-year workmanship warranty

WHAT DOES IT NEED?

A small fix or a full replacement? That depends on what we find on the roofline.

One leak or a loose downspout rarely calls for new eavestroughs. Rust along the length, splits, or a slope that sends water the wrong way usually does. We inspect first and quote what the problem actually needs.

WHAT A CUSTOMER SAID ON GOOGLE

Desi's replaced my eavestroughs. The cost for the work was competitive and the work was excellent. I found that everyone at Desi's was pleasant to work with. I strongly recommend Desi's.

FAQs

Eavestrough questions we hear most

Don't see your question? Ask us when you book your estimate.

How much does an eavestrough repair cost?

Most repairs fall between $490 and $1,990, depending on the problem and how much of the system it affects. A full replacement is priced for your home, based on the length of the roofline, the number of storeys and whether you add leaf guards.

What counts as an emergency?

Water getting into your home. If that's happening, tell us when you call. We can't promise a set response time, but emergencies go to the front of the line and we'll get to you as quickly as we can.

Are leaf guards worth adding?

They're designed to keep leaves and debris out of the trough. We install Alu-Rex T-Rex and Gutter Clean. They fit best on new eavestrough, but we can add them to existing troughs that are still in good shape.

Will you replace the fascia behind the eavestrough too?

If it's damaged, yes. We can replace fascia and soffit on the same visit and list it as a separate line on the quote, so the choice is yours.

Can I spread the cost out?

Yes. On approved credit you can take 6 months with no interest and no payments. It takes a few minutes to set up at the estimate, and you can pay it off early at no cost.
