If your existing frames are sound, a retrofit (insert) window replaces the glass and sashes without disturbing your trim, which is faster and less expensive. Are the windows energy efficient?
Yes. We install KV windows, custom-made in Canada and ENERGY STARÂŽ qualified, with Low-E glass and argon fill as standard and a lifetime transferable manufacturer warranty. Most customers notice the difference in drafts and heating bills the first winter.
How long does it take?
Windows are custom-built after the estimate, and lead times vary with the season. Install time depends on how many windows and whether they're retrofit or full-frame; we'll give you dates at the estimate, and we cap, caulk and clean up before we leave.
Do I have to replace every window at once?
No. Many customers do the worst ones first and the rest over a couple of years. We'll quote each window separately so you can decide.
How does the financing work?
6 months, no interest and no payments on approved credit. It takes a few minutes to set up at the estimate.
